noxcatHaha - I just took the Hogwarts Sorting Hat quiz again because I couldn't remember if I ever took it. I'm a Ravenclaw. Big Surprise there. I strongly suspected as much, but now it's Official.

The eye is slooooowly improving. The swelling and redness went down about this time last week, but a new symptom appeared as they were disappearing: random tears. I guess that's the swelling going down, but it doean't burn before it spills out of my eye. It did seem to affect my vision a tiny bit, but that seems to be back to its normal crappy state.

Looks like it's finally time to replace my ancient laptop. It's maybe 10 years old now? nd for the most part, it still works fine. But I keep getting reminders that Windows 7 is no longer supported, and a couple of the keys are flaky, and the DVD rewritable drive has gotten difficult to open, so I've started looking. I was pleasantly surprised when I looked at prics - I was expecting to pay almost twice what I saw, so YAY for that.

And I really need to get serious about getting more comfortable with RideSharing. My doctor wants to put me on Prolia because kidney failure did no favors to my bone density, and while I am perfectly capable of doing the injection part myself, she insists I need to go in for it. Just what I need - yet another expense for an office visit. Unless I can combine it with a regular trip for a check up - those are happening about 4x a year. For one specialist. And I see more than one specialist. *sigh*
Your tax dollars at work, folks. I am a poster child for why there needs to be access to healthcare for everyone - cuz my current situation wouldn't have happened if happened if I had access to hea;thcare back in the 90s.
