noxcatI saw my breast surgeon for my post-op exam on Friday, and his comment was: 'If the screening technology were not so sensitive, you would never have needed a biopsy'. RAR. Yay for shelling out money for a completely unnecessary procedure. Yay for being uncomfortable for weeks because of a completely unnecessary procedure. Yay for the crappy state of healthcare in America. Yay for an Administration that is actively working to make the state of healthcare worse in America.
Yes, I am annoyed by the whole thing, and there is not enough Dark Chocolate in the world to smooth my ruffled fur.
And my hip has been twinging for the past couple days. The hip that has osteoarthritis so bad that when the Orthopedic surgeon took one look at the X-ray he said 'it's bad enough to warrant a joint replacement, but you're too young.' 12 years and a diagnosis of osteoporosis later - I'm hoping rest will be enough to make it stop being a jerk. I'm STILL too young for a hip replacement!
