I'm now self-isolating
Mar. 18th, 2020 12:36 pmaThanks to University of Texas president Greg Fenvez, who took people on a trip to NYC knowing it was more of a COVID-19 hotspot than Austin was, the first confirmed positive case was found in Austin - his wife. Since than as of last night, we have
19 cases in the county that we know about.
This all happened last weekend. And while I was already limiting my time in public and using hand sanitizer more often, I was still noticing people not being as
careful as I was. So now that we know it's here, I'm going to just become as much
of a hermit as I can for a while.
It'll probably drive me crazy, especially while I'm still stuck with the old, dying laptop, but whatever it takes to stay healthy...
